About Us

MTCI is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit that equips youth ages 14-19 throughout the greater Atlanta area with the tools needed to build healthy relationships and increase capacity for self-sufficiency. Over 3,500 teens each year from high schools and other organizations across DeKalb, Fulton, Gwinnett, Rockdale, Cobb, and Newton counties are served by MTCI. Through its nationally recognized programs, training, service-based learning activities, professional services, and a network of support,  MTCI lovingly imparts the standards of personal responsibility and guides youth toward applying the research endorsed "Success Sequence" defined as education, employment, marriage, then children.  MTCI is empowering youth, engaging families and enriching the community.

More Than Conquerors Inc.

Vision Statement

Vision Statement: The youth and young people that motivate the services and programs offered by MTCI will actualize the “success sequence”- education, employment, marriage, then children, and will become productive in every area of their lives.

Impacting the community

When youth are equipped with knowledge and tools to make the healthiest decisions for themselves and the families they will start, it significantly increases the likelihood they will become contributors to the community as opposed to a cost. MTCI takes our youth off the costly path of dependence by equipping them to achieve a future of self-sufficiency and healthy lifestyles for themselves and their families to follow.

MTCI will...

1. Cultivate a positive environment for starting Positive Youth Development programs by building relationships with local districts, improving the legislative environment for youth development, and working with others to solve system barriers that could hinder youth development.

2. Create community demand for MTCI programs by informing and educating community leaders, parents and students about the benefits of the programs impact on the community.

Mission Statement

Improving the capacity of youth in Metropolitan Atlanta to form safe and stable families sustained through a network of community support
